Application
We are currently accepting applications for the following positions.
CAPTAIN:
This critical position requires that you are decisive and mature in the decision making process, perform responsibly at an executive management level while operating a major company asset, and that you are a leader who can motivate crew members to perform at their highest capabilities.
MATE:
As the executive officer to the Captain, you are responsible for ensuring that his directives are strictly followed and in a timely manner. You will continue to train to eventually become a captain, and shall be capable of assuming the Captain's duties as they are delegated. You should be skilled in the administration of the vessel and be able to manage crew training and career path development.
CHIEF ENGINEER:
You should be highly qualified in every technical aspect of Rigdon's offshore vessels, be eager to learn the new technologies employed on the GPA 640 PSV equipment, be able to become an expert in diesel-electric operations, provide precision maintenance and advanced troubleshooting, be an excellent teacher willing to develop future engineers, and be a team player that will support the Captain.
OTHER MARINE EMPLOYEES:
All other crew applicants will meet the same high standards and qualifications for all marine vessel positions.
All applicants are required to pass a drug screen (Rigdon Marine has a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse), criminal background check, and medical fitness evaluation.
